𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦-𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭

This is a re-share of a note which I had shared with my LinkedIn network some time ago. The importance of this cannot be stressed enough, hence the re-share through other channels.

1,000+ hours, 4 years post university, and one life-changing credential.

After four years of intense study, including delays due to global exam shutdowns during the pandemic, I’m proud to have earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

For those who aren’t familiar, the Chartered Financial Analyst designation is widely regarded as the most respected designation in global investment management, known for its rigor, its standards, and its depth.

The Charter signifies access, setting yourself apart from other industry “experts”, and proving that it’s possible to rewrite the script.

It’s proof that the American Dream is not dead, that it remains possible to scale social classes in the United States.

It’s proof that you can complete your life goals, if you set your mind to them.

Earning the credential has already opened doors, deepened trust in high-stakes conversations, and positioned differently, even among peers with decades of industry experience. Not because a few letters make someone more intelligent, but because the journey itself builds a certain kind of discipline, resilience, and depth of global perspective and thinking.

I’m incredibly proud of this milestone, and even more motivated for what comes next.
